A panel of eminent, independent scientists has been brought together to address scientific research issues linked to water quality in the George River.
John Ramsay
The panel has been convened by the independent Chair of the Board of Tasmania’s Environment Protection Authority, John Ramsay.
John is director and principal of his own consulting company providing services in health, human services, environment, planning and natural resources. He was Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services from 1999-2005, and Secretary of the Department of Primary Industries, water and Environment, Department of Environment and Land Management, and Department of Environment and Planning during 1989-1999.
He has extensive experience as chair and member of State and national Councils, committees and advisory groups relevant to environmental management issues.
